  • My image, “Wilted”, received an Honorable Mention in the Still Life category in the 12th Annual Julia Margaret Cameron International competition.

  • My photo, “Sand Shoal”, was curated by Lonnie Lardner into the exhibition at Gallery 825 titled ‘A Non Objective Moment’.

  • My image, “Running River”, was sold at the Venice Arts Gala in support of their fundraiser for this dedicated organization supporting children’s involvement in the arts.

  • The photo, “In Touch”, was curated into the fundraiser to support CASA LA.

  • My image, “Girl with a Pearl Earring”, was curated into the 2018 ‘Portrait’ exhibition at the SE Center for Photography: juror Steve Diamant

  • My image, “Headlights”, was curated into the Lenscratch exhibition ‘In the Dead of Night’: juror Michael Hacker.

  • My photo, “Return to Earth”, was selected by curator, Jane Szabo, for an Honorable Mention in the ‘Confronting Mortality’ competition on l.a. photo curator.

  • My photographic collage 'Sharing Cultures' was selected by juror, Jill Moniz, to be part of the "Hecho a Mano" exhibition at Gallery 825 in Los Angeles.

  • Three of my 'Sand Shoal' images were curated into F-Stop Magazine Land, Sea, Air August - September 2018 Issue #90.

  • The 11th edition of Julia Margaret Cameron Award for Women Photographers selected 10 of my images in 4 categories. My photos received an Honorable Mention in the Nude Figure Category; Honorable Mention in ‘Open Theme’; Honorable Mention in the Portrait Category and Finalist in the Landscape Category.

  • Apocrypha, an all media exploration of artist influences. Juried by Thomas Canavan - Creative Arts and Special Projects Manager, Fairplex. My mixed media photographic work titled ‘Spreading Her Wings’ was selected.

  • Flashpoints: A Collective Response with a focus on Civil Rights, Water, Nationalism, Human rights and Political Polarization. My image, ‘Paradise Lost’ was selected for the Water category by curators: Georgia Freedman-Harvey and Anne Hromadka Greenwald. The exhibit is being held at LA’s MuzeuMM. 

  • The Pasadena Art Show: Art in the artHouse: curated by Joshua Elias. My image, ‘In Touch’ was included.

  • “Expanding Boundaries” Fine Art Show at the LACP Gallery: curator Scott B. Davis included my images ‘Self-Help’ and ‘In Touch’.

  • Unstandardized Women: Exhibition at the Powell Library, UCLA

  • L.A.A.A. ‘Spotlight Artist’ in March, 2018

  • Your.Daily.Photograph - Topic: Recycling. My image ‘Nesting’ was chosen.

  • Women Seen By Women: Gala Awards Finalist

  • My photo(s) selected to be in the online February: Beauty/Beautiful issue of F-Stop Magazine.

  • “Circle of Life,” my hand-made circular weaving, was accepted for “Trappings:” an all media exploration of textiles in contemporary art. Juried by Robert Benitez, MOAH:CEDAR curator. The exhibition opens at Gallery 825 in Los Angeles on Saturday, February 10, 2018 and runs through March 9, 2018.

  • Mara Zaslove was chosen as an “Artist Spotlight Solo Art Exhibition winner.” She will receive a one month solo exhibition on the Fusion Art website for her series “Aging Gracefully.” The gallery will promote Mara and her work for the entire month of her exhibition. In addition, one of her images will be invited to be included in the annual group show that is held each year in the 2018 show in Palm Springs, CA.

  • My series “Don't Bring Me No Rocking Chair” (Aging Gracefully/Life-cycle) was a finalist in the 2018 Gala Awards: Women Seen By Women part 3.

  • My image, “Self-Help” was selected by jurors: Jane Szabo and Greg Cobarr for the 2018 2nd Annual LA Artcore Photography Exhibition.

  • Out of 922 works, the juror: Fabian Debora selected 110 pieces for the 2018 LA Open Exhibition. My images, “Demi Plie” and “Self Help” were both included.

  • My image, “A Joyful Vision” received 3rd Place in the Chromatic Awards International Photo Contest: Nude Category.

  • My photo, “Hanging Out” was selected by the juror: Alix Sloan for the all group media show “Bunk” at Gallery 825.

  • My photo, “I See You” was selected to be exhibited in “Wonderland Grayscale” at BG Gallery shown at the FM Gallery.

  • My image, “Sand Shoal” was on the media cover and selected to support CASA of Los Angeles.

  • I was acknowledged by JAI as the April, 2018 Artist of the Month.

  • My new series “Mix and Match” was included in the invitational exhibition “Echo One” at the FM Fine Art Gallery.

  • My photography was highlighted by Los Angeles Artist Association on March 15th 2018 as the Spotlight Artist.

  • 2 of my images were curated by Scott B. Davis into ‘Expanding Boundaries’, a highly competitive exhibition at the Los Angeles Center of Photography.
